Mail Preparation Parameters

There are 5 sections to complete:

  • Title of Mail Piece
  • Containers
  • Consolidation into Mono/Skids
  • Brick-piled Mono/Skids
  • Print Manager Table

Title of Mail Piece: select either a specific Title of Mail Piece or select All.
Note: If you select a specific Title of Mail Piece you must enter the parameters for that Mail Piece, Calculate and then select a different Title of Mail Piece, complete and Calculate until all have been calculated. If the parameters are the same for all please select All.

Containers

Pieces per Bundle: enter number of pieces in a bundle (do not count the residue bundle); format: 3 numeric digits (no decimal)

Bundles per Container: enter the number of bundles required to fill a container; format: 5 numeric digits (no decimal)

Container Type: select the type of container;

  • CPC Supplied Hard-Sided Containers
  • Flexipack pouches
  • Customer Supplied Containers

Consolidation into Mono/Skids

Containers per M/S (Min/Max):

  • enter the minimum number of containers that can be stacked on a mono or skid/pallet per Canada Post regulations; format 4 numeric digits (no decimals)
  • enter the maximum number of containers that can be stacked on a mono or skid/pallet per Canada Post regulations; format 4 numeric digits (no decimals)

M/S Type: select either Monos or Skids/Pallets

Brick-Piled Mono/Skids

Bundles per M/S (Min/Max):

  • enter the minimum number of bundles that can be stacked on a mono or skid/pallet per Canada Post regulations; format 4 numeric digits (no decimals)
  • enter the maximum number of bundles that can be stacked on a mono or skid/pallet per Canada Post regulations; format 4 numeric digits (no decimals)
M/S Type: select either Monos or Skids/Pallets

Calculate
Once you have entered the required information click Calculate. The table will populate with the calculated numbers.

Table
The Table displays the details for each individual Delivery Installation with the ability to drill down to the Delivery Mode level if required.
The table displays:

  • Title of Mailing Piece: you are able to expand / contract to see the individual Delivery Installation levels.
  • Transport
  • Delivery Start Date
  • Containers
  • M/S
  • Brick-Piled
Edit : Select this to override a single Delivery Installation

Next Steps:
Click Finalize and the Print Manager will open
or
Transmit (if you have not printed from the Print Manger you will be informed there are labels left to print. Press OK to print them all and Transmit will continue, or press Cancel and Transmit will continue without printing. You will then need to go to the History section to select and print the required labels.)
