Identifying and eliminating barriers

Accessibility is about including everyone, and Canada Post recognizes the importance of providing accessible programs and services that Canadians can rely on. Meeting this responsibility is part of our transformation plan, A Stronger Canada – Delivered.

Our Accessibility Policy reflects our commitment to proactively identify, remove and prevent barriers to accessibility through a consistent, company-wide approach.

More about the policy

Our goal is to be a recognized leader in accessibility. We want to ensure that everyone can access our programs and services, and that we attract and retain top talent that reflects Canada’s diverse population.

Our policy governs all aspects of the focus areas of the Accessible Canada Act :

  • Employment
  • The built environment (buildings and public spaces)
  • Information and communication technologies
  • Communication
  • The procurement of goods, services, and facilities
  • The design and delivery of programs and services
  • Transportation

We review and report on our Accessibility Policy every year to the ESG Committee of the Board of Directors.
