Formed in 1903 to ensure the survival, mobility and combat effectiveness of the Canadian Army, the Canadian Engineer Corps has made invaluable contributions to Canada's defence and development. Its engineers have served the navy, army, and air force in every operation during both world wars, in Korea, and in peace-support operations the world over. They serve wherever and whenever needed, whether in combat or humanitarian missions. To honour the Canadian Engineer Corps' century of service to the nation, Canada Post has created this special commemorative envelope.
